So I went in today for my additional screening ultrasound just to be sure there wasn't anything lurking around that could cause issue with my upcoming treatment. And FINALLY we got some good news. Despite the sonographer taking more than a few snapshots of different areas that started to trigger my anxiety, my surgeon sent me a message to assure me there were no areas of concern in my left breast! So thankfully there will be no need to biopsy anything more or remove any lymph nodes for testing. 

Kevin and I also stopped by the Coborn Cancer Healing Center to learn more about what's available there to assist in my treatment. It's a very nice setup and there are definitely some services I want to take advantage of - massage, acupuncture, yoga, meditation, and support groups are on the top of my list. I'm also very glad they offer support to family and caregivers as well. Kevin (despite all his reassurances) will need support through this too.
