OH HAPPY DAY!!  🙌🏼 

 

If you remember, in a previous update, we had promise of more provision coming through a yard sale that took place this past Friday and Saturday. 

Kenton’s parents & their D-Group worked tirelessly for weeks to sort through their homes and attics for items to sale with all proceeds benefitting Amelia. 

 

The grand total raised…drum roll, please…are y’all even ready for this?! —> $4,865!!! 

Yes, you read that number correctly! 

When we heard the news yesterday, our jaws hit the floor. And then tears were shed with big smiles of joy. 😭 

(More than we could ask or imagine!) 

 

We couldn’t be more grateful for the combined effort! 

Yard sale shoppers weren’t bargaining on price - not only would they pay full price, but they would round up or give above and beyond for Amelia’s benefit. 

 

 

We are thankful for each of YOU: the generosity, the love, the prayers, the sacrifices and general feeling of vast support that we have felt throughout this entire fundraising experience leading up to our girl’s first intensive. Y'all have been our cheerleaders and I thank you for speaking life over her and her bright future in mobility.

As parents, it’s a humbling one to ask for support, and also a testimony of God’s provision in a time of need. 

 

Throughout this process, Philippians 4:6 comes to mind: Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 

 

From the beginning I knew this was a ‘big ask’, yet I have had peace about moving forward and booking each step of the way, knowing - not how, but that ultimately He would provide completely. 

 

To date: We have raised a combined total of $11,100! 🤩 

 

We’re now only $6,900 from our overall goal of being fully funded for her second intensive next spring. 

For this reason, we will keep our fundraising going. 

 

We are SEVEN days from pulling off for North Carolina! 🗓️ 

 

I will post another update before we leave about our goals that we hope to see while there.
