My first update

Hi everyone, thanks for being here.

This Support Registry is how we're rallying help for our dear mother Alma or Lorena (Lore) as she’s known to close friends and family. 

Here's what's going on: As you may know since you’re here my mom was involved in a 3 car accident that left her with a long list of injuries that includes: one broken ankle and the other dislocated and fractured, as well as other serious injuries. Because of the injuries to her ankles she will not be able to bear any weight on her feet for at least 6-8 weeks. However physical and occupational therapists are working with her everyday in the hospital to slowly get her muscles working so when she’s able to she’ll have the energy and strength to stand. As of now she’s able to sit up for a short amount of time but that’s the extent of her abilities at this time. Everyday she’s getting a little stronger but this is going to be a slow, long road to recovery. We appreciate each and everyone of you here supporting her at this time!
