Great news overnight and this morning! Redness stopped spreading shortly after posting my update last night and has even started receding this morning! NO SURGERY NEEDED!!!!! She is still very swollen but these are good signs! Infectious disease will reevaluate and decide if she is on the right antibiotics but we are in the clear from the first thing they expected (which was necrotizing fasciitis). THANK GOD! THANK ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS! I fully believe this is a result of prayer! Now we just are praying that her immune system bounces back from the chemo soon to help fight off what’s left of this infection!
