Treading water

I reached out to services nearby to maybe get a case worker to help me day to day. It'll probably take until November until I hear anything back.

It's always waiting and waiting and waiting. 2 years I've been waiting on disability. Two years being unable to work (plus some change of trying and it nearly killing me), my life put on hold with my head just above water, knowing the boat will pass me by again.

I wish they would just reject this one so I can go for the court hearing. Perhaps seeing the broken man before then would show them the pain instead of the pile of medical papers that can't seem to agree what's wrong with me

People aren't meant to survive this process. For each one they wait out, the less benefits they have to provide.

The stress ever sense EBT was cut had been tremendous. I haven't felt rested in a month now. I can't fall asleep, I can't stay asleep, yet I can't stay awake either. My eyelids feel so heavy, yet when I lay down nothing happens.

My anxiety is usually a 7/10, I've grown used it to. It's my base line. It's times where it's a consistent 8-9 that I remember how high strung I am. When's the last time I've been relaxed?
I'm so close to baseline yet I feel like I'm losing sense of reality.
I'm always a bad day away from a freak out or a break down
