Today - mom had another good day in terms of no set backs and less pain meds.  She is climbing the walls and ready to get out of there.  Luckily she had her niece in from FL.  Jill spent all day with her and they shopped online a bit for some clothes that would bother her wound and for her to be comfortable while recovering at home.  In the evening, Allison visited so my cousin could have dinner with the rest of us and have break from the hospital. 

We met with the rehab doctor and he really didn't think she'll qualify for inpatient rehab and the way she was moving from bed to chair and stuff today we agreed it makes the most sense and will be easier for all of us (after we get through all the logistics) for mom to head home hopefully next week.  Next step is getting the wound vac in place (Monday we think) and all the logistics worked out.  Hopefully she'll be home by next weekend but we all know we plan and g-d laughs, so we shall see.
