Mom didn't sleep at all last night again so Amy went to help the night CNA try to calm her down. She was anxious and upset.   She's just exhausted because they don't have her on any anxiety or sleeping meds that she is used to.   We've been working non-stop with doctors, nurses and pharmacies all week to get things sorted and praying tonight is a better night with new sleep meds. 

Her day overall was good considering no sleep (she'll sleep for 10 minutes and think it's a few hours).  Anyway - she had PT eval this morning and they'll be coming to house 2x/week.  Then she had home health nurse visit, but they didn't have to do wound care since we had to do that outpatient yesterday to have her set up with the hospital wound care clinic. Then she had her new primary care doc and nurse came to pay a house call (it's my primary doc - who does direct primary care - less $ than concierge but similar and well worth it for mom with all that's going on).   We've been speaking all week about mom but today they had their first visit so we could get Dr. Anderson up to speed and then come up with a game plan to get mom sleeping and less anxious.  Adam, Emma and Hunter also stopped by on their way home from Hunter's 2nd day of daycare (he likes it so far and doesn't even cry). 

In addition, the daytime CNA that's been with mom since Tuesday and mom loves thinks mom just can't focus since she's exhausted.  TV doesn't' distract her and she keeps wanting to get up like 4+ times an hour (that's what went on all night last night too).   Based on that - I ran to Walmart and got mom some fidget toys and coloring books so that tomorrow she'll have some distractions a bit.    

We turned off all the lights, gave her sleep meds and put some beach sounds on her iphone and let's all pray she gets some sleep.

Please let me know if you can visit at all this weekend.  Her schedule is wide open!   If she gets some rest, she wants to go see Adam and Emma's new townhouse in Canton (about 20 minutes from mom) on Sunday (the movers dropped off their stuff from Hawaii today), but we told her we would see how the night went.   She also wants to go to the Derby party at her neighborhood clubhouse tomorrow afternoon.   Prayers she has a good night so she can rest and heal.
