Aila has blown us away these three weeks. Today especially she was all smiles while working so hard at therapy. The smiles mean the world to us because she has gone periods of time (weeks to multiple months) where she didn’t smile at all. This is something that many of us probably take for granted until it goes away-the smiles and giggles of our little ones. 

We are so incredibly grateful for all the support we’ve received so far-it means so much to our whole family. For those who have offered their hands on, practical help we promise we will be in touch! We’ve had a wild few weeks with Aila in the NAPA intensive in Chicago. Along with that she had appointments with her epilepsy, ophthalmology, and anesthesia providers, as well as an MRI under general anesthesia. Not to mention the typical summer activities for the other three kids! 

Today was “ Fun Friday” at NAPA and almost all of us were at therapy with Aila (Thea was still at camp) so Aila had some help from her siblings as well. Here she is having fun AND working hard 🥰.
