Adree Anderson
Adree is 2 weeks into inpatient rehab!
3 hours of therapy most days...working hard to overcome a month of bedrest.
She's steadily improving mobility, endurance, and dexterity. Six weeks after hospitalization, she's taken her first steps since hospitalization with the assistance of a walker. Already prepping for stairs. Can feed herself more easily now and even use her phone again. Inspiring!
Likely another week or so here before HOME! Weeks of outpatient therapy will be next.
Her voice has mostly returned! She's gone from sounding like Stuart from Mad TV, to Herbert from Family Guy, to Marge Simpson, to the Squeaky-voiced Teen from the Simpsons. So that's been fun!
Adree's HLH condition continues to subside.
Kidneys restarted. White and Red Blood Cell Counts mostly improving. Her toes are mostly improving...appreciate the podiatrist' guidance.
Plenty of follow-up doc appointments to come. And we're still seeking the underlying cause.
Thank you so much for those who have already given!
And thank you for your continued prayers, thoughts, and support!
