Today is our 15 year wedding anniversary! 
I'm thankful to be together with Adree and a lovely view of the KC skyline (even if it is from a hospital room). 

Our sweet Adree continues to recover. 
Medical team believes her HLH condition is slowly subsiding! The cause still being explored in case another autoimmune issue prompted it.

Thanks to PT and OT, Adree got to sit outside the busy hospital yesterday for some sun, fresh air, bird song, and car honk.
Plenty more therapy needed to regain her strength. 
Lungs strengthening. Kidneys hopefully restarting soon. Starting to eat soft foods again!

The road ahead is long (weeks), but she's motivated towards recovery and rehab.
