It was a busy morning today. We all loaded up in the van for Angie’s Orthopedic appointment. She did great and had some tears but not too many. She got all of her staples and stitches removed! Removal of the stitches seemed more painful.
Ortho surgeon also wrote a prescription for physical therapy for 2-3 visits a week for 4-6 weeks…. This is GREAT news.
He said to continue only using her right leg to pivot. Still nothing else on her left leg or left arm. She can only hold a cup of liquid in her right arm. Nothing more. In four weeks she has a checkup where they will evaluate her pelvis and arms to see about adding therapy in for them as well. Still nothing else much going on in the left arm.
For now, she is sleeping. Good night, friends!
