It has taken me several days to write this update bc the last day was so emotional for me. 

Zeke has been working so hard and made such massive strides that I wasn’t ready for it to end. Additionally, we love Tally so much we were not ready to say goodbye. And finally, we made some new friends (Suds) who we hated to not see daily. 

But you can’t live in therapy. You have to take it out to your life and see how it all integrates. As Dr. A said, “we don’t want him to be really good at therapy. We need it to translate.” 

Zeke really wanted to ride the bike like Suds did every day so we ended our intensives with a bike parade. And Zane on a scooter. So cute. And fun. It was a perfect way to end a really fun and productive intensive. 

We are back home full time again, Zane had a really successful swim meet this past weekend and now we are in routine.

We did get Medicaid - yay- but now I have to figure out how all this works. With waiver Medicaid, things are unique and you can accidentally mess things ups. So I have been wading through this with a grateful heart and a cry of help - more both/and. 

Pls pray for Medicaid to cover intensives - this would be HUGE for Zeke. 

Pls pray for Zeke’s hamstrings to fully straighten. 

Pls pray for Zane’s heart - he is a champ but it’s a lot.
