Glorious morning everyone,
Today I got to see his eyes open, and he squeezed my hand!! God is so so good you guys! Doctors are testing fluid from his brain for infection, his white blood count is up a little bit. He's on antibiotics. I watched the physical therapy team set him up and asked for him to move limbs, he's limited on movement, but it's only been 13 days. He's so strong! His head is still a little swollen, but it's going down. He's got a long recovery ahead, but I have faith in our Lord to see him through. Please keep the prayers coming guys they're working!

Today marks 4years since my car wreck. I was going high speeds on sunnylane and had a blow out lost control and went to oncoming traffic hit a curb and then a tree. The only thing I remember is waking up at OU trauma ICU 5 days later. I split my skull open, I broke my spine c2-c5, I shattered my femur they put a rod in my hip to replace it. I had a tracheotomy as well. I was in ICU for about 2 weeks until I was moved to Jim Thorpe rehabilitation to re learn to use my body again. Learn to walk, talk, basically everything like I was a toddler It's a long recovery and the new normal is hard to Adjust to but we're fighters and we can do this. Patience and never giving up and having a good support is really what is helping even though some days are harder than others. Zakk I'm here for you. Take your time rest awhile.( Shoot crew coming for you, don't know what to do). If you know than ya know. Sending good vibes and good spirits your way.
