Baby suppl AND food
After taking time off from work for childbirth and postpartum recovery, my former employers let me go. I previously worked at Atlanta Painting Company, painting houses. After losing my job, I fell into a severe postpartum depression. I underwent treatment, and thanks to that, I was able to overcome it. Two weeks ago, I found a job as a receptionist at a hotel. Here, I am able to have my children with me, though the pay is $500 per week. However, the agreement included the hotel providing me with a room, the cost of which is $450 per weekâmeaning that basically consumes my entire weekly salary. The good news is that I don't have to pay for childcare, which I absolutely love; however, I don't have enough left over to purchase supplies for my children or food. I need two different sizes of diapers each week, plus food. As long as I continue living here, I know that the pay might be better elsewhere, but here I can keep an eye on them myself, and that gives me great peace of mind.
