What a week this has been… one full of milestones, answered prayers, and moments that took my breath away. Tucker has shown us over and over just how strong, determined, and capable he truly is — and God has been in every single step. 💙 

 

It started with one of the sweetest “little things” that meant everything. A year ago, Tucker couldn’t have done what he did this week. I guided his hand, and he held the spoon completely on his own — then brought it to his mouth with intention and opened wide. ❤️ 

For someone with his diagnosis, that level of coordination can take years to develop. But here he is, making strides that remind us daily what hard work, prayer, and God’s grace can do. We are so grateful for every prayer lifted up for our boy. 

We also had a neurology appointment this week, and it was full of good news. Hearing specialists confirm the progress we’ve been seeing at home gave us a whole new level of hope and encouragement. 

 

And then came a moment I will never forget… 

Tucker walked for several minutes straight — no hesitation, no breaks, just pure strength and determination. Watching him take step after step like that felt like witnessing a miracle in real time. We can truly see the stem cells doing exactly what we prayed they would. His body is connecting, responding, and waking up in ways we’ve been dreaming of for so long. These are the moments that keep us going on the hardest days. 

 

But Tucker wasn’t done showing out this week. 

Yesterday, during integrated athletics, he ran the  basketball court in his gait trainer with the biggest smile on his face. 🏀💙 His energy was contagious, the crowd absolutely loved him, and his teammates cheered him on the whole way. Seeing him out there — not just participating, but shining — reminded me once again that there are no limits to what he can do when he puts his mind to it. His determination is unmatched, and his spirit is something special.
