We are anxiously awaiting discharge from our second C-Diff admission for February. He is medically cleared for discharge but we are waiting for the medication to be delivered so we can get home to Sweet Emmalin and of course Chris.  The last time we did this, I picked up the meds at Walgreens and the pharmacy did not compound the medication! Luckily our amazing Ingles team compounded it for us and the crisis was canceled!  

The main question Chris and I have been getting is what is a Fecal Transplant and YUCK! We completely understand and both felt that way when this was first mentioned to us six months ago. Tucker has an appointment on Monday March 11, with the Fecal Transplant doctor at Gi Care for Kids who works with Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Scottish Rite. He is very aware of Tucker and we are hoping that he moves quickly with the procedure. He was only clear of C-Diff for 12 days before he was reinfected. He has had C-Diff multiple times and his immune system is unable to fight this bacteria. I sincerly hope that I can update that we are HOME SOON! :) He is ready to get into his red wagon and head to the car!
