It’s been a while since I’ve done an update - I’ve had a tough month. During my last round of chemo, another drug was added which made me really sick, so I was puking for a few days while I was at Mayo. Yuck! 

While at Mayo, I had a PET scan and a bone marrow biopsy done to determine how I’m responding to chemo. My body was initially responding well, but it seems now that a stem cell transplant is an option I need to consider. 

I’m meeting with a team at the University of Minnesota this week to have a second consult on the stem cell transplant. I’ve done some research, and I’ve seen some pros and cons on doing the transplant -  it’s a hard decision to make based off what I’ve found and what I’m hearing from Mayo. 

I have some tough decisions to make here in the next few weeks regarding my treatment plan. I’m scared and nervous, but doing the best I can to stay positive that I’m gonna kick cancer‘s ass! 

Chloe is coming home for a visit, so I have pushed my next round of chemo out to the week of Sept. 15th to be able to spend some time with her. :)

Please keep me in your prayers and thoughts as I move through these decision making weeks regarding the next steps of my treatment plan. I love you all and appreciate all of your support so very very much!
