Elly is "home"

After an exhausting night of nurses interrupting sleep every few hours, Elly was grateful to be released from the hospital before noon. Her parents have a ranch one level home so Elly is staying there to recover for her first few weeks. Today, she was able to nap in a recliner which was helpful. She does have drains to manage (along with the pain from surgery) so this space and added help is such a blessing. Alex will bring the littles for frequent visits! His parents and sister are also being so helpful with caring for the boys this week.

Thank you all for the sweet supportive messages, we will make sure Elly sees them all. Please continue praying for: Elly's smooth recovery and healing, that the surgical pathology comes back clear so she won't have to go back into surgery next week to remove more lymph nodes, good rest and peace for Alex, Teddy and Ben as they adjust to a different routine for a bit.
