Isaiah 41:10

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand".

John's biopsy results confirmed that he does have pancreatic cancer and that it has metastasized to his liver and other areas in his abdomen. We met with Mayo, Jacksonville last Tuesday and learned of a trial that he could participate in. (After more research last week, we are going to pass.) We met Wednesday with the oncologist at Emory and got their treatment plan. They will place a port on Monday and he will begin chemo on Wednesday. They are also genetic testing his tumor to determine exactly how to treat his cancer. We had a consult with the head of oncology at MD Anderson, Houston on Friday. He confirmed that we are headed down the correct path at present. We continue to look for trials that John could participate in. Please pray that God continue to provide people, treatment plans, and trials that will keep John comfortable and that will heal him. Please pray for our family as we navigate this journey with him.
