First I just want to say the amount on this support is not what is actually needed but it is what was the recommended amount. My dad will be cremated and we will have a get together/ service of some kind at a later time when the time comes.  
Today's update- The saying "They have good days and bad days" is definitely a thing whether it be good days or good hours and bad hours or maybe even minutes! Yesterday evening, dad was given some meds along with morphine and he had rapid breathing and then labored breathing as if he couldnt catch his breath, then as the night went on; it turned to slow relaxing breathing.  He slept all night and so did I, we have had so many visitors today.  People from Hospice and family came and little by little, he woke up and talked for a bit here and there and most you could understand even if he started resting his eyes before he was done talking.  So, I guess I would say today was a good day so far!
