Guess what Kat got this week? She got her wheelchair stroller! Because she's still so little, it's less like a typical wheelchair and more like a fancy high chair that doubles as a stroller!
The seat in it has padding that helps her posture, since she struggles with head control and core strength but is removable to put on different bases (like the stroller or high chair base)! 
I can't honestly say that seeing her in her new wheelchair didn't cause a lot of grief and emotions, but we are excited that this will give her more comfortability in the long run and independence as she gets older. Nobody ever expects to see their child in a wheelchair nor think about the accessibility of their lives, but we know that this doesn't replace or rid of our goal of her learning to stand or walk. We will continue to strive towards that goal, because we believe she can do whatever she puts her mind to!
Now to figure out how to 'Kat-ify' this bulky thing (all ideas are welcome)!

In a few weeks, we'll be getting her stander, which will help build better strength in her core and legs. Thankful for awesome equipment like these to allow us to work on her strength at home.
