Our recent trip to Illinois brought the family together, and it was wonderful seeing Hannah's parents, Page and John, as well as some of our extended family. While Rena's health is facing challenges, we're finding joy in the moments we share.
Rena, though petite, still brings smiles when touched gently. She's navigating some digestive issues that bring discomfort, but it was nice to take turns holding Rena as a family. Rena is currently tube-fed, and her care involves continuous support and holding.
Family visits bring a welcome reprieve for Hannah and Christian, offering them a chance to balance daily tasks and spend quality moments with Peter. Rena has specific positions that bring her comfort, and sometimes, a bit of “enthusiastic bouncing” lightens the mood.
Despite the complexities, our recent time together was filled with both heartfelt and joyful moments. Rena's spirit and the joy she brings to our family are ever-present. We're grateful for the support and the chance to share these meaningful moments as a family.
