Hello friends, family and community of the Sears family.

We are so grateful for the incredible showing of support during such a difficult time. I have spoken with multiple family members who are overwhelmingly touched beyond words. And although, of course, none of them have asked that others shoulder this burden, it is our privilege as their community to do so in the small way that we can.

Their family, including Garrett himself, have been especially known for their generosity. As a personal illustration, Garrett gave our son his Nike shoes (pictured hanging at the site where friends  created a memorial ) because he knew how much he loved them. That was just the kind of kid he was. We are so grateful that he was a part of our lives.

Now we can generously give  back by spreading the word about this fundraiser on any platform you feel comfortable. Texts, socials, even word of mouth. This early momentum makes the biggest difference.
