We're celebrating extra big today as our baby turns two. Not only that, but a year ago this morning we were on a plane to Phoenix as we closed on our house January 8th, 2024. It's pretty wild to reflect back on all that this past year has brought, both really good and really hard. We have SO much to celebrate! 

For those that know Rocky, absolutely adore him. He’s the best snuggle bug, funny, smart, and kind—truly the purest form of love. We always say “Rocky is so funny,” but you wouldn’t get it until you really know him. He makes us laugh every day. His name means “rest,” and he’s taught us what true rest looks like in a way I didn’t understand until recently. For someone who struggles with slowing down, he’s provided us with redemptive peace and balance. 

This year has been tough for him, but he has been an absolute warrior. He’s been a total rockstar through it all. We’re beyond grateful for the joy, light, and wisdom he brings into not only our lives but others lives too.  We're feeling so so so fortunate to get another birthday with him...something as a medical family we will never take for granted. 

Like I always say whenever we celebrate a birthday for either of the boys, today is not a day to only celebrate Rocky but a day to celebrate our amazing community, family, medical providers, near and far and all the support. People always say it takes a village with kids… I feel that tenfold this year. We truly would not have gotten through this year without that. Lots of love and celebration Thank you beyond words for all the support, love and prayers that sustained us this past year.
