We received updates from the medical team that Brandon had a High grade cancer tumor (more aggressive), but we were very fortunate to have caught it at an early stage. His body has to recover from the very intensive whipple procedure & then he will meet with the oncologist  to discuss chemo in 3 months to destroy any cancer cells left behind that could spread. We are grateful for this but we are still weary about what the next year will look like for our family. He’s still stuck in the hospital, unable to be discharged, from complications with the procedure.(Day 12). So we are going to be a bit of a hot mess train 🚂 for months, I apologize in advance.
