He's home! Bryan was discharged yesterday and we couldn't be happier that he is home. We still do not know what caused him to go into Cardiac Arrest but they have indicators that it was/is Cardiac Sarcoidosis. Don't Google it, just know it's scary! They have not ruled out a genetic component either. We are waiting to get in with a specialist at Emory to see how we move forward from here.
In the meantime, he has a lot of work to do to get his memory/cognition up to par. We are currently looking for a Private Speech Pathologist to work with him on a regular basis, so if you know of someone in the West Georgia area, please reach out to me or Olivia.
Thank you to everyone for being so incredibly kind and helpful during this time with a special shout-out to the City of Johns Creek Fire Department. They have gone above and beyond to help us get to this point. Please continue to pray for Bryan's recovery, as he still needs those prayers! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
