Except instead of anger, I'm overflowing with gratitude and awe -- at the entire team. The medical avenger squad and y'all alike. I'm stunned that a week later, I'm both walking and talking. Sometimes even at the same time. And I'm home.
These weren't milestones that we were expecting to be achievable in this timeline, so we're floored. Literally, and figuratively (the world hasn't stopped spinning and it feels safer to sit on the floor than perching on anything fun, like a chair). But the world is bright, and recovery has been made all that much easier because of your support and encouragement. So thank you, umpteen times over. For your notes, donations, and care. I couldn't be luckier.
Taking recovery a day at a time, but today, was a good day. So going to ride that!
