As lovely as the rooms are in the ICU, the time has come to move on. DJ is back in the regular heart wing and one more step closer to home.
There was a delay in today's biopsy procedure but hoping to get it done sometime today. He will have a biopsy of his heart done once a week for a few weeks and eventually once a month. This is the most accurate way to test for rejection. So far all is well and his body is accepting this gift beautifully.
