Today was a roller coaster of emotion that ended with some disappointment.

Today, Zeke had a platelet infusion, since they got super low again and the doctors wanted to beef him up before his outpatient chemo in the clinic on Friday.

After receiving the meds and getting educated, we were homeward bound around 2p!

We were finally able to have a night home as a family, but then noticed that Zeke’s port started to bleed through his shirt around 7p. The doctors wanted Zeke to head back to the hospital because they weren’t confident that he has enough platelets to clot.

Things to pray for:

• This trip back to the hospital will just be out of an abundance of caution and Zeke will be able to clot on his own.
• This will be a fairly quick visit and not lead to a long stay. We’re unsure now of how long this trip will be.
• After his return, we’re praying for some much needed family time at home.
