Michael Timme
I've thought about providing updates many times over the past week, but I struggled to find the right words. We had a challenging start as we figured out how to make him comfortable, but I’m happy to say we’ve succeeded. He’s now set up in our living room with a full view of the dining and kitchen area, so he’s always in the heart of family life. Some days he sleeps all day, while others he’s alert and observant, sharing an occasional word—today happens to be one of those days. 😊 The outpouring of love and support has been incredible, though not surprising to me. I’ve always known how much my father is loved by so many. Much love, Anna

I had a similar set up with my mom, and know how hard but full of grace the work is.
Please tell Mike that his Walsh classmates have him in always in our thoughts and all of you in our prayers

Your Grandfather Maynard was my mother‘s twin brother.

And speaking of chord melodies, thanks for teaching me to play the “Timme Guitar Method” of chord melody jazz guitar. I may have been a lousy student, but it was always fun hanging out with you. My guitar playing may not have been all that great, but the wine was always good. By the way, I haven’t completely given up on the jazz chord melody stuff, but it has been relegated to “back burner” status. Interestingly enough, a lot of what you taught me on guitar also works on the ukulele. So that’s worth a double thanks!
Whether I’ve been struggling with a family conundrum, or with work or life related issues, you have always had some bit of positive, supportive and constructive advice to share. That has been greatly appreciated. Big, big thank you for that.
I’ve mentioned this before, but I wanted to say it again; you (and the rest of The Ukedelics) are like a little extended family to me. And I’ve always thought of you like a big brother (but the nice kind, not the kind that beats you up and makes you thank him for the privilege). You are a friend, bandmate, and brother. I love you Michael.
Cheers!
