CPAP Trial

The medical team decided to give her a trial on CPAP today. If she handles it well, she’ll be able to stay on it. However, if she struggles or becomes too tired over the next few days, they will need to re-intubate her and put her back on the ventilator.

So far, she is handling the transition well, which is encouraging! In order to try CPAP, they had to stop all of her pain medications, so that has been a bit rough for her. We’re hopeful she’ll be able to tolerate it and continue making progress.
