Wednesday night is when our nightmare began... We were sent to the ER Wednesday afternoon after Paxton's eye check up, his doctor found that his optic nerves were swollen. Once at the ER they did a neuro eye exam and then an MRI. That's when we were told Pax has a brain tumor...they found a large mass in his front left lobe. We were then admitted to the Children's Hospital, where we have been ever since and will be for the next couple of weeks. The doctors and nurses have been amazing! Pax has had many procedures done to help the doctors plan how to safely remove all of the tumor. Pax will have surgery Thursday, Sept. 10th to remove the tumor and then it will be sent off for a biopsy. Please send prayers!

We cannot thank our family, friends and community enough for all the love, support, prayers, thoughts and donations during the most difficult time. We appreciate you all so much.

God bless you now and always Paxton, I pray the Holy Spirit wraps you and your family in all the prayers that are being said..that he guides the doctor's and surgeons hands during the surgery to successfully remove all the mass, so you can heal back to being healthy and spunky!

Heavenly Father, we come to You with trust as this surgery begins. Please guide the hands, minds, and hearts of the doctors, surgeons, and nurses. Grant them wisdom, steady hands, and clear focus. Heavenly Father, I come before you today lifting up Paxton who is in deep need for your healing touch. Lord, you are the great physician, and nothing is impossible with you. Please lay your healing hands upon his body, mind, and spirit. Ease his pain, quiet his fears, and grant him the strength to endure. Give wisdom and skill to the doctors and nurses caring for him.
