🚨 MATHIS MENAGERIE UPDATE: APPARENTLY WE NEEDED ANOTHER SEAT. 😂❤️

Well, friends…remember when we started this fundraiser because our family had officially outgrown our vehicles?

Remember the jokes about needing a church bus with cup holders?

God apparently heard us and said, “Excellent. Let’s make that need a little louder for the people in back.” 🤣

We were asked to take an 8th kiddo! ❤️

Our home is growing again, and while we can’t share all the details, we CAN say that another little person will soon be joining the Mathis Menagerie.

That means our already very full crew is getting even fuller—and our need for one vehicle that can safely transport our entire family has officially gone from “this would make life dramatically easier” to “Okay…we really, really need more seats.” 😂

When we started this fundraiser, we weren’t looking for something fancy. We still aren’t. We’re looking for something safe, reliable, and BIG enough to let us do the things families normally take for granted: load everybody up, buckle everybody in, and go somewhere together.

Between our children, foster kiddos, and the family members we help care for and transport, our life requires a whole lot of seats—and currently, a whole lot of coordinating multiple vehicles. We have one 9-passenger vehicle, but that will no longer make the menagerie cut.

We have been incredibly grateful for every person who has donated, shared this fundraiser, supported us in other ways, prayed for us, sent us vehicle leads, encouraged us, or joined in our ongoing search for the elusive Church Bus With Cup Holders™. 😂

If you’ve thought about sharing our fundraiser, this would be an amazing time to do it. Maybe it reaches a dealership. Maybe someone knows someone with the right passenger van sitting somewhere. Maybe 100 people give $10. Maybe the right person simply sees it at the right time.

We don’t know how the answer comes.

We just know we’ve got another kid to love…

…and apparently we’re gonna need a bigger boat. 😂❤️
