Given Jadon's age (him being a young man) and the family's request, I am omitting many details in hopes of keeping things clear, concise, and respecting people's privacy.

Since birth, Jadon has had a number of health complications. While many of those issues have been resolved over time, there have been lingering complications. 

Thanks to the curiosity and persistence of Tucker and Pam advocating for their son, they identified an underlying health issue associated with his trachea & esophagus. 

On a hunch, the family traveled to Boston for in-depth tests, which revealed a serious but treatable condition. 

As Tucker described it, had Jadon been born in recent years, it would have been addressed immediately, without delay. Unfortunately, due to what we will graciously call 'gaps in the medical system', his symptoms went undiagnosed and untreated for years.

Fortunately, that's no longer the case. Jadon's surgery is scheduled for October 30, 2023 in Boston.
