We are waiting to find out the final piece of Phil's diagnosis. In this waiting, we are feasting on God's word, singing, and marveling at the body of Christ.
One of the first thoughts that came to my mind after Phil was called by the UCBC hematologist about his diagnosis was, "Lord, what is the good work you have prepared for me here?" (Ephesians 2:10) I cannot go back to yesterday or a year ago and regret how I should have loved him better, but right now I can take up the good work God has prepared. I see that so many of you have taken on your good works in this season without hesitation. I praise God for your faithfulness. I pray this trial, in us all, produces perseverance so that we may be mature and complete, lacking no good thing.
