A quick van update!

First, we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has contributed to our van fund, whether through SupportNow or by sending donations to us personally. We are incredibly grateful for every contribution and for everyone who has shared and supported our family.

We are currently working with United Access to figure out the best and safest way to modify our Mercedes Sprinter to accommodate the girls’ wheelchairs. One possibility is a rear-entry lift, which would require removing the existing benches and installing pilot seats for our son and any additional passengers.

We’re also exploring whether a side-entry lift or ramp could work with our current van. This would be our ideal solution because it would allow us to keep the rear of the Sprinter available for medical equipment, luggage, and everything else that comes along with traveling as a family of five.

If modifying our current Sprinter isn’t feasible, our next option will be to trade it in for a van that has already been appropriately modified.
