The Linn Family
After 25 days in the hospital we are home. Our brains are fried and our hair is falling out, but our hearts are full. Three weeks ago I wasn’t sure this day would ever happen. Praising God for the miracle we have witnessed before our eyes and the team at Duke for giving us our girl back. Hollis will be followed very closely outpatient post transplant. We will go back to Duke for labs on Friday and be seen in clinic twice a week in the beginning until we are further out from surgery. Please continue to pray for Hollis’s recovery, that the hardest days are behind us, and healing for our family from the trauma of the last weeks.
There’s so much to be processed but for now we are just happy to be home. Our gratitude is endless for each of you for getting us through it.
Hollis turns SIX tomorrow and if anyone deserves a celebration it’s her! For those of you in our area we are planning to do a little birthday parade/drive by this Saturday. We will be outside and would love to give you air hugs and see your sweet faces! We are thinking from about 2-3 in the afternoon but if you can’t come at that time no worries (we will be here alllll day!)
If you can come by our address is:
20030 Fountain
Chapel Hill, NC 27517
We love and appreciate every one of you!
