One step at a time

Preparing for Edward’s funeral has been one of the most difficult things I’ve ever done. I wake up every night thinking to myself, Edward will pop out of casket and say, Gotcha! and we will all have a good laugh.
Talking to family members, departments within the Air Force, and funeral home staff has humbled me. Many things that appear out of anyone’s control. In the end, we want the same outcome. A sense of peace knowing that Edward is in a better place.
As the funeral approaches, we hope to  be able to provide him respect and give him the dignity he deserves.
