Making Food Last All Month is a Big Challenge for Us

We are a family of four, and I am a single dad with three daughters. They are 9, 15, and 16 years old. I have been raising them on my own for 12 years now. It can be tough because I have PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder, which is a mental health condition triggered by a terrifying event). Getting by each month is hard because food costs a lot, and it’s even harder to make it last until the end of the month.

We try to stretch what we have, but it’s just not enough. The prices keep going up, and it feels like we’re always running out of something important. Having healthy meals should not be so difficult, yet the struggle is real for us. We really need some help with the groceries.
