The Jamison Family
We just got the news that our new insurance company is denying John’s upcoming PET scan. He’s Stage 4, fighting for his life, and his doctor at City of Hope specifically needs this scan because standard MRIs have missed his cancer in the past. It’s maddening that an automated system can just block vital care like this.
Fighting Stage 4 cancer is hard enough without insurance companies denying vital scans and pain medications. John is fighting so hard—The red tape and travel costs are overwhelming. We head back to Chicago tomorrow. If you can spare $5 or even just hit the share button to help us reach more people, our family is endlessly grateful. On top of the scan denial, they’re also putting up roadblocks for the basic medicine he needs just to survive the severe acid pain from his chemo. He’s in absolute agony from the side effects, and we’re having to fight tooth and nail for coating liquids and pain management that should be standard.
