It’s been about a month since our last update. We’ve been soaking up time together and celebrating Lennon James turning 2, moments we’re so grateful for. 

 

As we head into the last week of February, we’re feeling a mix of hope and anxiety, as it’s a big week for Dad. On Thursday, February 26, he is scheduled to have a defibrillator (ICD) placed under his arm. The surgery is expected to last about 1-1.5 hours. 

 

At this time, Dad is also scheduled for another surgery on March 5 to have a fistula placed for dialysis. We’ll see how the defibrillator surgery goes before deciding whether to proceed with the fistula surgery on March 5. 

 

As we go into this week, we ask for your prayers, for a safe and smooth surgery with no complications, for peace and calm to ease everyone’s anxiety, and for wisdom and steady hands for the doctors. Most of all, please pray for Dad.
