Here’s an update:
The hospital visit today was a hard one. The doctor let Joe and Jessica know that Eliza seems to be regressing. Her oxygen levels are not holding up and her lung capacity is not improving.
They are doing an 24 hour EEG now to monitor whether she is having seizures.
They let Joe and Jess know that they can keep Eliza alive on monitors, but if she shows regression, they will need to think through how they want to go forward. This is obviously not what their heart desires or what they wanted to hear today.
Thank you for your continued prayers for these precious ones.
