Friends -

It is almost time to meet Banks and to welcome him home! Martie and Taylor are preparing for one last weekend at home with their two big boys (Knox, almost 4, and Davis, almost 2) before they welcome Banks on Monday afternoon. 

As Banks' birth approaches, please join us in the following prayers: 

• For the safety and health of both Martie and Banks throughout her delivery. Martie's c-section is scheduled for 3:30 PM on Monday, June 10.
• For the team that will be gathered that day - for wisdom and ability for Dr. Williams, and for peace and calm for the nurses.
• For surety in whatever next steps may be needed for Banks. Please ask God for both clarity and access for what testing may be needed for Banks immediately. 
• For the best possible care for Banks. We'd love him to come home immediately with Martie later next week, but we know that a NICU stay, or potential transfer, is a possibility. 
• For peace for Martie and Taylor in the midst of so much unknown. We know that God goes before us, and that Jesus is interceding on their behalf, on Banks' behalf, and that He is our Advocate. We continue to be grateful that nothing is a surprise to the One who created Banks' perfectly in His image! 

The Hendricks want to express their gratitude for all the love and support that everyone has surrounded them with so far. They are so excited to welcome Banks to the best community! 

We will post updates here after we have word of Banks' arrival, and will continue to use this forum to share prayer requests as needed. Please share it with friends of the Hendrick Family want to stay in the loop!

I'm forever grateful to be pals with these great people, and to see the way that they are loved by so many.
