It’s crazy to think we are at the end of January already, and into another phase of treatment for Sky. She has just started the 2nd phase of BLINA last Friday which will last for 4 weeks. This is the one Sky has to wear a backpack containing the IV pump and drug bag for the entire time with her port accessed the whole time. She did really well and felt pretty good on this drug last time so we are hoping for the same again. 

We had a (very) small amount of snow here last weekend, which unfortunately wasn’t enough to build a snowman but we did manage a “jabba the hut” which the boys were relatively pleased with. 

Sky has been going to speech therapy in addition to her treatment. She is fully up to speed with her comprehension of what we’re saying, but she just struggles to form clear words to respond which can be frustrating for her trying to communicate. 

Sky is enjoying having Nanny staying with us for the next month and the extra person in the house to boss around. She is especially a fan of setting up all of her teddies with Nanny and making cups of tea for them (or sometimes just throwing the cups at them - she must be in a rush to be somewhere!).
