Sky has been having a break from chemo for the last 1.5 weeks as her blood counts have been too low to start the second half of consolidation. It’s looking like she will be able to start on Monday but that won’t be confirmed until her blood is taken and tested at the hospital on Monday morning. Then it will be a 4 week repeat of the first half ending with the MRD test that will tell us if she is in remission or not. 

We’re all amazed she has made it through the first half without catching anything and needing a hospital stay with her immune system being so deteriorated. We’re praying with thanks for this blessing so far in consolidation and that this continues in the second half.

She’s feeling great right now with the break and is full of smiles and giggles and Poppy has been able to get out on some days with her and the boys, including to a kids science museum and a trip to the zoo.
