6 months. 

Somehow, these 6 months have flown by, but it’s also felt like time has been standing still. We’re anxious for him to grow big so his life can be easier, while also wanting him to stay little. 

The most challenging and rewarding 6 months of our lives. His first full month at home where he belongs. 🥹 

 

We’re so thankful for this past month- the family we finally got to introduce him to, the milestones we’re meeting, the “normal” baby things he now gets to enjoy on a daily basis (in addition to all his medical maintenance). This month has felt like the calm after the storm and it’s exactly what we needed to keep surviving. 

 

He’s gaining weight so well we’ve been able to decrease the calories of his formula! He’s getting close to being able to sit on his own. He loves to play with (aka eat) his toys and watch his sister be wild. He’s slowly tolerating purées and is taking more milk by mouth as his breathing slowly improves. 

 

He’s almost always smiling and is a living, breathing miracle that we will never stop thanking the Lord for.
