I met with an advocate today, that challenged me to be open and transparent regarding our need. 

On that note, lifting Gabe is becoming challenging. I actually am in physical therapy at the moment, and will have an MRI next week to investigate a possible tear in my hip area. Buddy is  heavy, and our bodies just don’t get a break. 

The thought of wheeling Gabe out of our home, and into a van is what keeps me going. It used to be a want, now it’s definitely a need.
