Hello Family and Friends,
I am updating everyone with Lisa Gore's condition. Lisa Gore has had 2 extended stays in the hospital since the beginning of June. Lisa, who is self employed, is now unable to work or contribute in anyway. Due to this we are asking everyone to help in anyway.
Lisa has been diagnosed with Supra Ventricular Tachycardia, which makes it so she can not do anything at all without her heart rate racing and making her pacemaker shock her heart to reset the arrythmia happening.. Lisa, who normally remains quite active as any working Mom does, is now reduced to needing a wheelchair to move around or has to remain in bed because her condition leaves her overly exhausted and wiped.
Just a quick summary, Lisa lost our son, Nathaniel Gore in October of 2010, when she was 33 years old. One month later Lisa was diagnosed with a Parapardum Cardiomyopathy, most likely due to the loss of our son at 28 weeks. Over a 10 month period it was determined she needed a pacemaker to survive. Lisa did pretty well up to her most recent hospital stays. Lisa was shocked by her pacemaker (6) times over a 24 hour period. When a person gets shocked, it is equivalent to a person being defribulated when their heart stops beating. Lisa's heart rate got to such a high rate, that her pacemaker had to shock her heart or it would have failed. Medicine at this point is not doing what it needs to, to allow her to do even the most normal of activities we all take for granted. She has already had one ablation attempt done to fix the arrythmia in her heart and is scheduled for a second ablation attempt August 14th of this year. We are reaching out to everyone to please help in anyway they feel led. We are so grateful for all who have prayed and assisted and thank you all so much.
