The Franke Family
Hi everyone.
Thank you everyone for all your assistance. Mom and I are very very grateful. She and I are resting currently: we both are sick and the doctor called in some antibiotics and vertigo medication for me. I just got out the hospital this Wednesday, and am doing my best. FPL agreed to push back electrical bill payments until October. This is helpful, as I have not been able to really work.
The death certificate should be ready for pickup, and I filed today with SS for Mom and will reach out to Germany soon.
Mom and I both weep on and off daily, but thankfully we still have each other.
Dad's remains are ready, and we made the pickup appointment for Wednesday. We are slowly making a space in the guest room and have printed out out last pictures together to make a little memorial in home. Mom and I decided not to have a huge gathering thing for now, just because it is not what we believe Dad wanted and because she and I are just struggling so, still. We promise to keep giving updates.
Again, thank you so much. For everything. I am so grateful to see all your notes, and how my daddy touched so many lives in all these different ways. He truly was a gentle giant with a huge sense of humor and heart.
Doing our utmost, every moment.
Tomorrow is not promised, and it is later than we think.
Thank you for loving us.
Thank you for keeping touch and all your considerations and help
