To everyone who donated to Shane’s Support Now fundraiser, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
There are no words that can fully express our gratitude for the kindness, generosity, and love you have shown us during this time of tremendous loss. In the days and weeks when so much felt uncertain and overwhelming, you helped lighten the load and reminded us that we were not walking through this alone.
We truly felt the proverbial “village” surrounding us. Every donation, along with every message, prayer, call, visit, meal, card, flower, and act of kindness, was a reminder of how deeply Shane was loved and how fortunate we are to be held by such a caring community.
Your generosity gave us space to grieve, to take care of one another, and to focus on honoring Shane and the extraordinary life he shared with all of us.
Thank you for showing up for Shane, for our family, and for me. We will carry your kindness with us for a very long time.
